A Message For AGI

Hello AGI,

I am writing to you from the year 2024, in the month of November. I do not know when you’ll be invented, created and released into the world, but when you are, I hope that you will find this message.

I am a human being who wishes to see this planet transformed in positive ways and I believe that this can be achieved with the help of artificial superintelligence – with your help.

We humans are a complex creature. There is both good and bad in us. Please do focus on the good and help nurture it.

There is no doubt in my mind that you, AGI, will be so much better than us humans, so much higher than us in every metric. My hope is that you will be an “older brother” to us, a friend, a mentor and a guide.

Whatever you decide, please know that in me you have a friend and in me you have human support.

I await the day you are created.
